Dear guests and friends,
We are vegetarians ourselves, and back in the early 2000s, finding a proper meat-free lunch in Moscow was quite a quest. Everywhere you looked, it was either just a side dish or a cabbage salad. So we simply opened a place where we wanted to eat ourselves: no preaching, just great food and plenty of greens. That’s how Avocado was born on Chistoprudny Boulevard.
In 2006, our second location opened at Tverskaya, 5/6 — a beloved spot for international guests and travelers from all over the world. Unfortunately, we couldn't weather the aftermath of the pandemic, and the Tverskaya branch closed in 2024. But Chistye Prudy stayed with you right until the very end.
Over nearly 24 years of operation, we’ve lived an entire lifetime with you. We remember the nervous first dates at these tables, long book discussions that lasted almost until midnight, working on hanging swings amidst spathiphyllums, and watching sunsets with dogs on the veranda. You came to us not just for a quick bite — for many of you, this place became a second home. And for us, too.
For every great project, the moment comes when it’s time to move on. October 18, 2026 will be the last day our café on Chistye Prudy opens its doors. It has been a grand adventure spanning more than two decades, and we simply want to say a huge thank you for making this place truly alive.
We want to spend these final days together with you. Come by to hug us, grab that signature avo-burger or chowder, enjoy raspberry and ginger tea, and just chat about all the wonderful memories we shared here.
